Based on the popularity of the James Bond films -- but laced with musical numbers for the children, this Columbia pictures/Hanna-Barbera production was released at theaters on August 1, 1966.
Rock Slag, American super spy, is wounded while chasing international spy Green Goose and his girlfriend, Tanya. Since Fred Flintstone resembles Rock, he is asked to take his place and fly to Rome to help corral Green Goose once and for all. The whole thing turns out to be a trap, and the real Slag, now fully recovered comes to Fred's rescue in the feature-length motion picture which features 7 musical numbers.
